Can I park right outside the field and barn?

Yes we have 2 free car parking spaces available per booking.

What is the access road like?

Access to the barn and barn is via a private lane. Please note that the lane is single track with passing points. The surface is stone, and during Winter - particularly following heavy rainfall- it may become uneven due to water run off. Drivers are advised to proceed with care. Vehicles with low ground clearance may not be suitable for this route. Please be aware that we cannot accept responsibility for any damage sustained by vehicles using the lane.

Are the barn and field connected?

No they are not directly connected and we ask you to leash your dog when moving between the two. The barn is at the side of the car park directly next to the field.

Can the barn and field be booked separately?

No the barn and field are a package and come together. Lots more things to do to keep your dog occupied.

Will someone meet me there to let me in?

No you just let yourself into the field at your time slot if someone is in there in your slot please do not enter and call Mel 07716362998.

How many cars can I bring?

Maximum of 2 cars per booking please otherwise otherwise agreed.

Can children visit?

Yes children are welcome supervised by an adult, we do have hot water in the barn and obstacles they may try to climb which for their own safety they are not allowed.

Does the field have lighting?

No the field doesn’t have lighting, the car park is lit up with a flood light which does light up the entrance of the field but we recommend you bring a torch if you want to use the field in the dark.

Does the barn have lighting?

Yes the barn does have lighting but please note no heating.

How high are the fences?

The fences are 1.6m high all the way round and I have included images of the spaces in the fence if you look at the photos.

What’s surrounding the field and barn?

There are footpaths either side of the field and also livestock in the opposite field. We are a quiet area in the valley however we do get people passing especially in summer and they may have dogs with them. We also have neighbours next to the field who have children, in summer you will hear and possibly see if they walk down the lane. We have planted hedges but it will take time for them to grow. It is upto you to use your judgement as to whether the surroundings will be suitable for your dog, we do welcome reactive dogs but if you feel any of these factors may be too stressful we may not be the field for you.

We unfortunately cannot control anything outside of the field Including noise and people passing by.

Do you have livestock in surrounding fields?

Yes we have sheep all year round and cows in the summer. They are not directly in the next field and separated by the lane or another field. We do have privacy netting up along the fence lines to help those dogs who may become distracted.

What is provided?

A 50 minute slot in our secure field, poo bags and water provided. We have tyres and a wooden walkway to climb on throughout the year and through summer we have agility equipment out. Also access to our barn 15x8 metres which includes a sandpit, ball pit, jump, tunnel and sniff and search area.

Are you open all year round?

Yes we are an all weather field so come rain or shine we will be open and it is up to the customer to decide if the conditions are suitable. The only exception would be if the ground was deemed to be unsuitable due to excessive weather.

What’s the surface like?

As we are in a valley the land is sloping and not perfectly flat. During autumn/winter the ground can become muddy and we advise to wear suitable footwear and bring a towel for your dog.

Do you accept XL bullies?
